Let's Be Frank!
Submitted by Allen on Wed, 04/17/2019 - 08:39Join the Arkansas Winds as we celebrate the 30th season of the Winds and present the live music concert, "Let's be Frank", a collection of musical selections composed by a person with some variation of Frank. The concert will be presented at the Farmington Performing Arts Center in Farmington, Arkansas on Saturday, April 27th at 7:00pm. There will be a reception after the concert to celebrate our 30th season. The concert and reception are free admission and the public is invited.

Sonny announced almost every concert during the 30 seasons of the Winds and has picked some of his favorite Winds pieces for this concert. The concert will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:00 pm at the Farmington Performing Arts Center, Arkansas 170 and Blue Sky Road, in Farmington, Arkansas. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Dashing Through the Notes

The Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band will present the concert, “Dashing Through the Notes” at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 at the Farmington Performing Arts Center. The Arts Center is located at the intersection of Arkansas 170 & Blue Sky Road in Farmington, Arkansas. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Rehearsal 11/12/2018 - Cancelled
Submitted by Allen on Mon, 11/12/2018 - 16:09Unfortunately, several streets in the area are already slick and there are some forecasts for tonight’s temperatures to be in the 20’s. Due to the possible dangerous driving conditions, we will cancel rehearsal for tonight, 11/12/2018. Be aware that leaves us with 3 rehearsals before the Butterfield concert.
If you haven’t yet checked, take a look at the page http://personnel.arkansaswinds.org to confirm your information, name and occupation (not job title). Remember, this is what we will use to generate the personnel list within the program.

Music Without Borders

The concert will be presented at the Farmington High School Performing Arts Center located at Highway 170 and Blue Sky Road in Farmington, Arkansas. The Winds will perform music from areas of the world including Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and feature a piece representing Cuba, composed by Arkansas Winds member Ross McGrew. Admission is free and the public is invited.
