The Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band is a non-profit, tax-exempt, all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing concerts to the Northwest Arkansas community and to providing a place for musicians to enhance their musical skills.

Hi-Fi Sc- Fi

The Arkansas Winds will be presenting the concert Hi-Fi Sci-Fi on Saturday, February 28th at 7:00pm at the Farmington Performing Arts Center, located on Highway 170 near the corner of Hunter Road. Admission is free and the public is invited. The Winds will perform themes from well known science fiction and video games. The main piece will be "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas". Feel free to forward this poster to anyone who might be interested.

December 29th rehearsal

Due to the Razorback bowl game. The Winds rehearsal on Monday December 29th has been rescheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. If you have trouble getting to the Farmington band room by 6, come as soon as you can. Send an email to info@arkansaswinds.org for additional information.

Winter Wonderland / Barnes & Noble bookfair

The Arkansas Winds will present their first concert of the 2014-2015 season, Winter Wonderland, at the Arts Center of the Ozarks on Sunday, December 7th at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Members of the Arkansas Winds will perform at the Barnes & Noble at 4144 College Avenue in Fayetteville on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 3:00pm through 7:00pm. The Arkansas Winds will receive a percentage of any purchases made with the vouchers from Saturday, December 13th, 2014 through Thursday December 18th, 2014. The vouchers may be used in store or the voucher number 11505666 can be used online at bn.com during that timeframe. Click on the image below for a copy of the voucher which can be printed and presented at any Barnes & Noble store.

The Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Donations to the band can be made at the concerts or sent to P.O. Box 4172, Fayetteville, AR 72702-4172. You can check on the status of your receipt by sending an email to treasurer@arkansaswinds.org.

The Arkansas Winds is a member of the Association of Concert Bands (ACB).

2014-2015 Arkansas Winds Rehearsals

The Arkansas Winds will resume our regular rehearsals on Monday, October 27th, in the Farmington High School band room. Directions can be found here. We look forward to seeing all of our returning and new members.

Arkansas Winds Hiatus

The Arkansas Winds are currently on hiatus until the first rehearsal of the 2014-2015 season on Monday, October 27, 2014. If you need additional information send an email to info@arkansaswinds.org.

J. Raymond Brandon Kick-Off Concert

The Arkansas Winds has been invited to perform for the J. Raymond Brandon Kick-Off Concert for the Arkansas Bandmasters Association Convention on Wednesday, July 30th at 7:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn City Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Red, White and Blooms

The Arkansas Winds will present a concert on the great lawn of the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks as part of the BGO 2014 Summer Concert Series. Admission is free and the public is invited to bring lawn chairs and picnics. Alcohol is not allowed and the BGO will be selling soft drinks and water.

Silver Jubilee Concert

Come celebrate 25 years with the Arkansas Winds!

The Arkansas Winds Community Concert band cordially invites you to their “Silver Jubilee” 25th anniversary concert. This concert is the highlight of their season, and will feature a brand new piece commissioned for the occasion. The concert will be presented at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale, Arkansas on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 7:30 pm.
